Just a blank rework of my Derpy Trot cycle. This is just so I can use it for other ponies.

MS paint doesn't have GIF support.

MS Paint is difficult for animation.

And IAZA, is one of the worst things to animate. You should use "Dymanic Drive" it was one of the best ONLINE gif makers. When I have MS Paint.

Hey, I was just wondering, do you mind if I reference this for an animation I'm doing of some of my characters? Doing trot cycles is really hard, and this is really incredibly smooth. 0w0

Go for it. This cycle is flawed in a lot of ways so keep that in mind if you're going to re-skin it =P

hey, looks realy nice dude :)

but shouldnt its head bob up and down a bit? or thats only for the mane? not sure...
and the rear legs appear to be far more time in the air than they should, or maybe thats just me...

yeah the model does a little stiff necked, and the legs are waaaay too long. I think this cycle has too many frames to be honest. I've done work on it since this particular upload but haven't updated it just yet.

the legs seem fine to me... the front ones may be the tiniest bit longer, than it should, but hey, it doesnt have to be 100% show acurate

and that was it! the neck is the one part that moves to and fro :)

if they were, wouldn't you be working 'on the Show', rather then teasing us with all the fun?
Just for the Mufin!!!

This is kinda mesmerizing. I think trying to get those legs right would have driven me crazy...props to you!

haha ty. And don't worry I was driven plenty loopy in the process. The worst part is tying up my efforts for a couple hours, only to realize a far easier and efficient way to do things after the fact.

The animation is very smooth and replicates the show almost exactly. The shadow works really well here too.

Thank you so much. I still have to fix the timing of the shadow slightly, but it's far down on a list of things for me to do at this point. =P
