Frozen's Queen Elsa: Let It Go Shadowbox by The-Paper-Pony Frozen's Queen Elsa: Let It Go Shadowbox by The-Paper-Pony
The moment we saw the movie Frozen, we were dying to make shadowboxes from the movie. We decided that the first one HAD to be Elsa as the Snow Queen since that scene just gave us goosebumps. We wanted to capture the raw power the character embraced when she finally embraced herself so we decided to giver her a strong and triumphant pose. We also decided to add her snow fortress in the background to give it some visual interest and what is a show queen without snowflakes and cold wind? The hardest part about this box is definitely getting her braid and face to look right but when it comes together, it looks just like her!

We used glitter two different glitter cardstocks for her dress, a subtle glitter for her sleeves, and three separate glitter cardstocks for her cape (including the one with the snowflake print on it). The snowflakes and cold wind are crafted from a subtle white glitter and her castle is the same light blue gltterstock that we used for the bottom of her dress and shoes. The blue snow behind her has a shiny texture. Her hair has the same off-white shiny texture in certain parts. In the light, this box truly sparkles!

We are so pleased with the way this one came out!

Queen Elsa is available, please head over to Etsy or note us!

We used cardstock. Everything you see here is crafted from paper.
