It was drawn up in photoshop first. After that, the pieces were traced onto card stock and cut out using a hobby knife. They were then glued onto the backing and raised with adhesive tabs to give it depth.

But still this is very very nice for a beginner, the first time I tried papercutting, I was making a square and it turned out to be a misshapen hexagon.

I got all of my materials from the scrap-booking section at my local craft shop. Everything is card stock; sketched and then cutout with an x-acto knife. Then everything was layered using adhesive tabs.

And thank you for taking time to look :)

This is great! The only thing I don't like is the ear - it looks too fat. Also putting Angel in there is a nice touch.

Yeah the ear is a bit too big. It looked better in the drawing phase, I blame that mostly on my novice cutting.

Could be cut a tad better, but I love the distance from the paper, It creates shadows that would normally be drawn in. Its lovely.

Thank you. I was using a wooden cutting board as a surface to cut on, but i think that worked against me (the blade gripping too much). I'm gonna try something stainless steel next time to see if i can get the edges smoother.
