We've been fans of the show Fullmetal Alchemist for a while but Megacon has been the first con we've had time to design a box for Ed Elric! We wanted to do something showcasing him doing alchemy, especially since his long coat lends to a lot of movement in the box.
His metal arm was definitely the most difficult part of this box. We used a mixture of silver mirrorboard and shiny silver to give it the metal look. The detailing on his coat and the alchemy circle and blue blast are all done in glitter.
As always, every detail in the box is crafted out of cardstock.
